What you'll do

As a Senior Team Leader, you’ll act as the right-hand to the management team, helping run daily operations and keeping the Wing Shack energy high. You’ll:

  • Lead, train, and motivate team members to uphold Wing Shack’s standards of service, food quality, and cleanliness.
  • Assist with scheduling, shift planning, and ensuring adequate coverage during peak times.
  • Support the onboarding of new hires and provide ongoing coaching and development.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, resolving guest concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Help monitor inventory, place orders, and ensure proper food and beverage storage.
  • Oversee cash handling, deposits, and accurate POS procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant restaurant environment in accordance with company, local, and federal guidelines.
  • Step into the manager role when needed to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Reliable transportation plan to and from shifts as scheduled
  • Availability that aligns with company and restaurant needs (nights, weekends, holidays as required)
  • Able to perform all essential job functions as detailed in training and job description
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in food service, hospitality, or retail preferred
  • 2–3 years of restaurant experience required.
  • 3-5 years of restaurant leadership required.
  • Experience in both front-of-house (service) and back-of-house (kitchen/operations) strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of leading and motivating teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and labor compliance.
  • Proficiency with POS systems, scheduling tools, and basic computer applications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in a restaurant environment.

Physical Requirements

Working in a fast-casual restaurant environment requires:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift)
  • Ability to bend, reach, twist, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Comfort working in a hot kitchen environment with fryers, ovens, and grills
  • Ability to handle fast-paced, high-volume shifts
  • Manual dexterity to handle cooking tools, POS systems, and cleaning equipment
  • Tolerance for moderate noise levels and frequent interaction with guests and staff
