Shift Leader / Shift Manager

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS


Shift Leaders are responsible for Product, Service, and Image — the foundation of every great Marco’s Pizza.

You lead the shift, set the tone, and ensure every Guest receives a 5-Star experience.

This is also our primary development role for future Assistant Managers and General Managers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO


- Lead and supervise crew members during shifts  

- Open and close the restaurant  

- Coach and train team members in real time  

- Ensure food quality, speed, and accuracy  

- Work all stations (makeline, ovens, prep, guest service)  

- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards  

- Support delivery operations and coordination  

- Handle challenges and keep the team focused  


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR


Required:

- Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment  

- Strong work ethic and reliability  


Preferred (not required):

- Restaurant or shift leadership experience  

- ServSafe Certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS


- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours)  

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs  

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Compensation includes hourly wages plus participation in a team tip pool. 
  • Total earnings may vary by shift, role, and business volume.
  • Starting wages are based on experience, availability, and applicable wage laws.
