About UsAt Paul Davis Restoration, we help people recover from disasters. Whether it's fire, water, storm, or mold, our team restores homes and businesses quickly, professionally, and with care. We’re known for doing the job right and creating a great experience for our customers during a stressful time.

Who We’re Looking ForWe’re hiring an Operations Manager to lead and scale our Reconstruction Department alongside ownership.

This is a high-level leadership role.

We’re looking for someone who:

  •  Has led teams
  •  Has likely owned or operated a construction business
  •  Understands both field execution and financial performance
  •  Can build structure, enforce accountability, and drive results
  •  Is tired of wearing every hat and wants to focus on running a strong operation
If you’ve been responsible for everything — sales, production, hiring, cash flow — and want to step into a role where you can lead without the chaos, this is that opportunity.

What You’ll Do

  •  Oversee all reconstruction operations (PMs, field staff, subcontractors)
  •  Set and enforce standards for production, quality, and communication
  •  Own department performance: revenue, gross profit, and efficiency
  •  Build systems and processes that create consistency and scalability
  •  Review and manage job costing, budgets, and financial KPIs
  •  Coach and develop Project Managers and team members
  •  Step into high-risk or complex jobs to guide direction and outcomes
  •  Ensure an exceptional customer experience across all projects
  •  Partner with ownership on strategy, hiring, and growth planning
This role is operations leadership + performance ownership

The Right Person Likely Has

  •  8–12+ years in reconstruction, restoration, or residential construction
  •  Proven experience leading teams and/or running a business
  •  Strong understanding of job costing, margins, and financial controls
  •  Experience managing multiple PMs and crews simultaneously
  •  Ability to create systems, not just work within them
  •  Confidence making high-level decisions in ambiguous situations
  •  High standards for accountability, communication, and execution
What Makes This Role Different

  •  You don’t have to generate leads — we provide consistent work
  •  You don’t have to manage AR, payroll, or back-office chaos
  •  You inherit a team — and have the authority to improve it
  •  You’ll help shape how the department operates and grows
  •  You’ll work directly with ownership with real decision-making power
We’re not looking for someone to maintain — we’re looking for someone to build and optimize.

Culture & Expectations

We value:

  •  Direct, honest communication
  •  Accountability without excuses
  •  Ownership mindset
  •  Profitability with integrity
  •  Customer-first thinking

Compensation & Benefits

  •  Competitive salary + performance-based bonus/commission
  •  Company vehicle or vehicle allowance
  •  Paid time off & holidays
  •  Health, dental, and vision insurance
  •  401(k) with matching
  •  Growth opportunities within a locally owned, nationally supported company
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

The physical environment requires working in both indoor and outdoor conditions. This role may include job site visits requiring use of personal protective equipment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds is required.

Paul Davis Restoration is an equal opportunity employer.
Compensation: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
