Job Summaries

The General Manager is a newly created role focused on day-to-day operations and leadership of the company. This position will oversee service, accounting, and internal operations while maintaining key relationships with OEM builders and customers. It is an on-site leadership role ideal for a collaborative leader with machine tool industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the company
• Oversee the service department and accounting functions
• Maintain strong relationships with OEM machine tool builders and key customers
• Foster a collaborative, family-style team environment
• Support company growth and operational efficiency
• Participate in occasional travel to trade shows or builder visits (approximately 10%)

Requirements

• Prior experience in the machine tool industry (dealer, builder, or machine shop background required)
• Demonstrated leadership or management experience
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative leadership style
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, small-team, family-oriented environment
• Willingness to work fully on-site

Preferred Requirements

• Associate’s degree, vocational/technical training, or relevant technical background
• Experience managing service or operations in a machine tool distributor environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $125,000 – $150,000
• Bonus: 5% Profit Sharing
