Functional Description:
Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, conduct simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. Includes program analysts and management consultants.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As the Senior Deputy Operations Manager, you provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership in support of operations within the U.S. Department of Defense’s Take Charge And Move Out (TACAMO) program office, which ensures survivable and reliable airborne communication between the U.S. National Command Authority and its nuclear forces. This role reports to the Operations Lead and is responsible and accountable to the Ops Team, the Program Manager and the Deputy Program Manager for day-to-day operations, providing business management support to the Program Management Office. The Deputy Operations Lead will manage and coordinate IPT activities as requested from the IPTLs to effectively achieve program performance objectives, advise and participate in the development and coordination of required program documentation and briefings, and ensure program requirements and milestones are communicated and coordinated with program leadership.

MA/MS degree from an accredited college
Or
BA/BS degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree.
Or
Associate’s Degree plus two (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
