About the Role

Dairy Queen Winter Garden is looking for a high-energy, positive Assistant Manager who loves working with people and leading a team. If you want to grow your restaurant management career and be part of a fun, fast-paced, family-oriented environment, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate crew to deliver fast, friendly, accurate service.
• Support all daily restaurant operations (FOH & BOH).
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and product quality.
• Train, coach, and develop team members.
• Assist General Manager with labor costs, food costs, and scheduling.
• Manage cash handling, inventory, and shift paperwork.
• Resolve guest issues quickly and professionally.
• Support local marketing events and community partnerships.
• Maintain a positive, respectful, and team-focused atmosphere.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of restaurant or fast-food management experience (QSR preferred).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• ServSafe® certified (or able to become certified).
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs.
• Passion for great guest service and team development.
