Assistant Manager – Dairy Queen (Franchise Location)

?? Pay: $15–$17 per hour (based on experience)

What You’ll Do

  • Lead by example and represent the Dairy Queen brand professionally
  • Deliver excellent customer (fan) service and coach the team to do the same
  • Run shifts across front of house and kitchen operations
  • Control labor and food cost to support profitability
  • Enforce food safety, cleanliness, and brand standards
  • Help hire, train, coach, and develop Shift Leads and Crew Members
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized restaurant
  • Handle customer concerns using service recovery standards
  • Support local marketing and community efforts when needed
  • Take ownership of your responsibilities and hold the team accountable

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of restaurant leadership experience (QSR preferred)
  • Experience managing labor and food cost
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain)
  • High energy, dependable, and organized
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Willing to work around heat, cold, and busy shifts
  • Professional attitude, punctual, positive mindset
