About the Role
The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing, strategizing, and optimizing the day-to-day operations of our research lab, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This person drives efficiency, manages resources, and fosters collaboration across departments to enhance overall productivity and success.
This is a full-time, onsite position with the flexibility to provide evening or weekend coverage in the event of an emergency. This role supports research lab operations — it does not involve conducting research directly.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the organization's objectives.
Streamline workflows and procedures to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Ensure products and services meet quality standards through regular monitoring and continuous improvement.
Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
Ensure operations comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
Liaise between departments to facilitate seamless operations and communication flow.

Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred, with 5+ years of research lab operations experience.
The salary range for this position is $86,334 – $125,184 based on total years of related experience and internal pay equity considerations
